Once discharged from treatment programme our graduates join our thriving aftercare programme.
This programme is also available for any other individual who has undergone therapy or a treatment program wanting to attend aftercare services. You do not have had to complete our programme prior to receiving our specialist aftercare service.
The moment you graduate from one of our treatment programmes is always a fantastic occasion for both our clients and staff. We’ve all heard the phrase “the road to recovery is a long one”, which makes it that much more incredible when a person is able to successfully overcome issues in their life and leave the clinic.
We also understand that leaving a programme can be scary and you might not have a support network of family and friends to draw upon when leaving. That’s why our team offers extensive rehab clinic aftercare, so we can help you with your ongoing recovery plan and provide continual support and advice.
As well as offering expert clinical advice, we look to connect you with similar local groups and networks, so like-minded individuals can work together in a shared and supportive environment as they continue their recovery. If you are recovering from a substance addiction, these groups can help provide you with a safety net of people who understand the journey you’re on and having regular check-ins with them not only helps keep you in a routine, but you’re able to meet new people and maybe even start getting back into hobbies or sports.
For those recovering from eating disorders, our aftercare programme will help you with monitoring your diet while allowing you the freedom to make your own choices around your food. Our team will work with you continuously to help you plan a healthy diet, as well as offering counselling and support if you’re struggling or just need someone to talk to when you feel you need it.
Our aftercare programme is designed to help people maintain and continue on their journey to recovery. Our main aftercare programme is free and you do not have to have completed a full course of treatment to gain access to it.
For people who are interested in having extra support, we also offer telephone counselling and video counselling over services such as Skype. These additional counselling services can be from a month to a year after you leave the clinic, and could help prevent relapses, and to work out deeper issues that may have influenced the path to addiction.
Most importantly, remember that our team are here to support you and we want you to survive and thrive after leaving the clinic. We will support you in any way we can to ensure you make a full, healthy recovery.
