Whether you require drug or alcohol treatment, we offer positive guidance and evidence-based therapies.
Inpatient & Outpatient Rehab Programmes
Rehab for drug or alcohol addiction is offered in one of two ways. You can be either an inpatient, or an outpatient. The highest standard of treatment and help and support is given to inpatients; outpatient treatment is a lower-cost option.
Inpatient rehab
Inpatients stay in rehab clinic accommodation for their detox. This provides a safe environment and eliminates the risk of early relapse.
Inpatients are looked after by our team of nurses and care workers and have access to a dedicated GP and therapists. Therapy takes place at the clinic, and the patient can partake in a packed activity schedule to keep them active.
This is ideal for an alcohol, drug or prescription drug detox. It ensures the highest standards of care and should always be chosen if the patient is vulnerable or at high risk of relapse. Please contact us to find out more.
Outpatient rehab
Outpatients perform a home detox. They are looked after by either a loved one or they take care of themselves.
As with inpatients, the detox is medically-managed with withdrawal medication, however there is no hard restriction on illicit substances. The detoxing environment is less safe, and as such, the risk of relapse is higher as an outpatient.
We would only recommend being an outpatient if the patient isn’t classed as vulnerable. Those who are addicted to opiates and hard drugs will need the extra help and support that only inpatient rehab provides.
If you want a better idea of which type of rehab is best for you, our helpful professionals can explore your options with you. Call us on 0800 118 2892.
What Does Rehab Involve?
You will undergo a comprehensive recovery programme to treat the physical, psychological, social and behavioural sides of addiction. Only by treating all of these can we beat your addiction for good and set you up for a healthy, fulfilling life.
Clinical assessment
Once you have chosen a rehab clinic to provide your care, you will attend a clinical assessment to assess your physical and mental health.
The results of this assessment, as well as your medical history and housing situation, will be used to create a personalised recovery programme.
Admission into rehab
Once admitted into the care of your rehab clinic in Derbyshire, you will undergo treatment initiation, meet your care team and begin your detox.
Detoxing
Your detox will be the most difficult stage of your recovery. It requires you to abstain from the substances you are addicted to, until all traces of those substances have left your body.
To ease your symptoms, you will be prescribed withdrawal medication and you will partake in a productive activity schedule. This will include SMART workshops, gym sessions, therapy, walks, cycling and other activities to keep you active.
Therapy and counselling
You will be introduced to therapy during your detox. The aim of therapy is to treat the behavioural and social sides of addiction. If you have any underlying mental health problems such as PTSD, anxiety or OCD, you will also receive therapy for these.
Therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) will be incorporated into your recovery programme. These have helped hundreds of people go on to lead a healthy and productive life.
Ongoing help and support
We will put in place a support network as part of your rehab to ensure you can continue to receive help when you need it. We also provide one years’ free aftercare to help you adjust to your new life without addiction.
Ongoing support forms an important part of rehab in Derbyshire. Rest assured that with our clinics you will receive the support you need now and long into the future.
Together, we can beat your addiction and change your life. Call us on 0800 118 2892 to speak with one of our friendly advisors. All advice is free and confidential.
