Ecstasy (MDMA)
MDMA is a white crystallized powder, and ecstasy is sold in pills which usually contain MDMA but often with other active ingredients. MDMA is most commonly taken as a ‘bomb’ which means to wrap it in a cigarette paper and take it like a tablet.

LSD

Mushrooms are typically eaten raw or boiled into a tea, and the symptoms include vision being more colourful, being giggly, euphoric, or in awe at the world, and even mild hallucinations when larger amounts are consumed. It can also cause less pleasant side effects like vomiting, paranoia, a sense of being overwhelmed or even panic attacks.
Methadone
Methadone is a synthetic opiate that is often used to help people wean themselves off heroin. This prescription form comes as a green liquid, but it is also available on the street as pills or injectable fluids. Methadone slows down body functions and reduces pain, relieves anxiety and can even cause feelings of relaxation and warmth.
It is because of these side effects that it is so effective in overcoming the symptoms of heroin withdrawal. Unfortunately, it is extremely dangerous itself and taking too much can lead to comas, exhaustion or even death. It is also extremely addictive meaning taking it for any reason other than to aid a heroin addiction is never a good idea.
Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth)
Methamphetamine, like all amphetamines, is a stimulant. It can come as tablets, powder or crystals, with the crystals being smokeable and often called “crystal meth”. Crystal meth creates an intense sense of euphoria similar to crack cocaine, but lasts a lot longer. It tends to make users exhilarated, energetic and awake, but can also make them agitated paranoid and confused.
