Our rehab centres in Surrey offer private, luxurious accommodation and accept immediate admissions if you need intervention now.
A call to the Serenity helpline on 0800 118 2892 is all it takes to find out more about our Surrey rehab clinics. Our helpline is staffed by compassionate and experienced professionals who will take the time to explore your options with you.
Why Choose Rehab in Surrey?
Surrey has outstanding transport links with South East England. If you live locally or nearby, there’s no better place to be for convenience’s sake. Choosing a rehab clinic that is close to home will make receiving treatment easier.
Our world-class Surrey rehab centres specialise in alcohol treatment, street drug treatment and prescription drug treatment. So, no matter your addiction, or even if you have a double diagnosis, we can help you get clean and stay that way.
The facilities on offer are exemplary. You will stay in luxurious accommodation and receive 24/7 care from BACP accredited nurses and carers. You will have your own bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and freedom to explore the grounds.
We are committed to providing the best alcohol rehabilitation in Surrey and drug rehabilitation in Surrey. Our staff are extremely well trained and can help treat a wide range of mental health problems, including PTSD, bipolar, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, OCD, anorexia and bulimia. This ensures a high standard of care.
Many of our clinics use the 12 step programme for recovery, but they are free to create their own rehab programmes based on scientific evidence. You will attend 1-2-1 therapy sessions and wellbeing sessions as well as sessions as part of a group, to help you deal with the behavioural and social sides of addiction.
Inpatient & Outpatient Rehab in Surrey
When you are addicted to alcohol or drugs, it’s essential that you receive the kind of support you need. With drug and alcohol rehab in Surrey, there are two types of rehab to consider: inpatient rehab, and outpatient rehab.
Inpatients stay in rehab accommodation with 24/7 care. This is the traditional form of rehab, and also the most successful. You will undergo a medically-managed detox in a safe and supervised environment, but you will also have freedom to socialise and relax in the comfortable grounds. Facilities include holistic therapies like massage, group walks, horse riding and gym sessions to focus your body and mind.
Outpatients undergo a home alcohol detox in Surrey or a drug detox at home. The detox is medically-managed, but access to nurses and carers is not included, except for a planned visit once or twice a week. Outpatients miss out on the fun activities that inpatients enjoy, and do not experience the enjoyable, leisure side of rehab. The chance of relapse is greater because there is no hard restriction to drugs.
We always recommend inpatient rehab above outpatient rehab because the success rate is far higher across all addiction types. Whether you need a prescription drug detox in Surrey, alcohol treatment in Surrey or drug rehab in Surrey, inpatient rehab is the best opportunity to beat your addiction and get drug free.
Not sure which type of rehab is right for you? We can help you explore your options. Call us on 0800 118 2892 to speak with our helpful, friendly team.
What Does Rehab Involve?
Before you enter rehab Wales, you will undergo a clinical assessment of your condition. The assessment will be carried out by your chosen clinic and take place either at the clinic or in a private hospital, depending on which is more convenient for you. The assessment is necessary so a personalised rehab programme can be created.
Once admitted into rehab, you will undergo treatment initiation, which is when the clinic discusses the rehab process with you and what you can expect. Following this, you will start a detox to cleanse your body and purify your mind.
The detox stage of rehab is by far the most challenging because you will be fighting withdrawal symptoms. You will be prescribed withdrawal medication to take the edge off, but over a period of two weeks to one month your willpower will be tested. Thankfully, you will also be looked after by our nurses and rehab professionals.
During your alcohol detox in Surrey or drug detox in Surrey, you will also attend therapy sessions. These sessions will be a combination of 1-2-1 and group sessions, to deal with the behavioural and social sides of addiction.
The commonest therapies are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). These therapies have a lot of scientific evidence to back up their effectiveness at helping people get drug and alcohol free. You will also continue this same therapy outside the clinic for at least a few weeks.
When you enter rehab in Surrey, you will:
- Undergo a physical and psychological assessment
- Be prescribed withdrawal medications
- Go through a detox
- Receive care and support during your detox
- Attend therapy sessions to change your behaviour
- Have regular check-ups with a doctor to monitor your progress
If you’re ready to take the next steps, we’re here to help you take them. Call our friendly and helpful rehab team on 0800 118 2892 to get your questions answered and find out more about the rehab options available to you in Surrey.
